Coaching

PennPAC’s Coaching program provides targeted guidance to start-up or small nonprofits. Organizations are matched with our experienced volunteer-consultants for one or several 1-hour virtual sessions so that they can receive the support they need to effectively lead and become confident decision-makers.

Many of our Coaching clients are President’s Engagement Prize winners or otherwise connected to Penn. Serving a wide range of beneficiaries, the PennPAC Coaching program prioritizes grassroots organizations that are working to improve their local communities.

We are excited to grow the program and engage additional volunteers in 2021! To learn more, email Susan Pechman, Coaching Chair.

Past Coaching Clients

Since 2017, PennPAC’s Coaching program has served 12 nonprofit clients with diverse missions and needs. Take a look at some of our clients and coaching topics from the past year!

Global Fund for Widows is a nonprofit-dedicated to empowering widows and female heads of households to overcome poverty through skills-based training, job creation, and micro-finance. PennPAC provided advice related to growth planning and building a more robust infrastructure.

Rebound Liberia seeks to close the gender literacy gap by empowering girls through basketball. PennPAC offered the Liberia-based team advice on sustaining their successful program once they return to the US.

Getz Movin provides school aged kids and teens in need with new sneakers. As a new nonprofit, they sought PennPAC’s support with financial planning and forecasting.

Clippers and Cops, a nonprofit that began in a barbershop, aims to facilitate dialogue between the Black community and the police. PennPAC is helping them to replicate this model in other cities as a larger effort to create change.
